Project description
CERAMIC+’s mission is to strategically integrate traditional ceramic craftsmanship with cutting-edge technologies, promoting the revitalisation and internationalisation of the craft sector through cooperation and resource-pooling across the 4 priority regions of the SUDOE challenge. The territories most representative of the ceramics sector are: the Valencian Community (Spain), Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie (France), and Centro Portugal, working to develop a shared strategy, action plans and technology validation that drive the modernisation, revitalisation and internationalisation of craftsmanship and SMEs in the ceramics sector. The strategy combines the preservation of ceramic cultural heritage, advanced sustainable manufacturing technologies and knowledge transfer to craftspeople and SMEs through ceramics schools, technology centres and associations.
