Project description
The European City Facility is an initiative created under the Horizon 2020 programme and co-financed with LIFE funds since 2022, aimed at supporting local authorities in developing investment concepts or feasibility studies to accelerate investment in sustainable energy. The project submitted by Onda City Council develops an investment concept focused on creating a community-owned solar power plant, as well as transforming Onda’s street lighting infrastructure into a fully autonomous system.
